Four Week Painting Workshop
Tuesday, April 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

($120. Plus supplies you will need to bring to class)

Oil or acrylic painting. Open to beginners or experienced painters to pursue their own choice of subject. There will always be a still life set up. Fundamental to more advanced principles will be presented.

Easel will be provided.



SUPPLY LIST
• Palette
• Brushes: recommended filberts, sizes 4-10
• Oil or acrylic paint
At least a minimum pallet of white, black, and the three primaries (yellow ochre, alizarin crimson and thalo green). Additional recommended colors that can be added are cadmium yellow, cadmium red and ultramarine blue.
• Palette knife
• Paper towels: small sheet kind recommended
• Odorless paint thinner for oil paints only
• Canvases: stretched canvas, canvas board or gessoed masonite panels and the recommended sizes are 16"x20" to 20"x24"
• Cans: one for painting medium and one for paint thinner to clean with if using oil, or for water if using acrylic paint.
• Small sketchpad (suggested)
• Charcoal or pencil
• Paper trash bag
